Berlin based FAYVISH brings together what have been carefully divided so far - singer/songwriter, punkpop and the Yiddish language. Since June 2007, Fabian Schnedler and his comrades-in-arms invoke and assemble traditional music and Yiddish lyrics of the 20th century, referring to distinguished lyricists like Peretz Markish, Beyle Schaechter-Gottesman, Morris Rosenfeld and Peretz Miranski, and put them in a new context.
