A selection of tangos that present a flavour of each tango period and style of writing. 'De bute' or 'bute' is lunfardo (tango slang) for 'excellence' or 'excellent'. The arrangements (bandoneón, piano, bass, voice) are slightly faster paced, so the tangos could be listened to as well as danced. Extensive information about tango in general and each of the pieces in English and German.
