The Russian Songs Chorus is one of the most popular choirs of the country. The CD includes folk songs from many different regions of Russia, some of which ("Kalinka", "Svetit mesiac", "Oy moroz, moroz"...) have already became Russian standards. The soloist Ludmila Zykina who performs several songs with the choir, is now one of Russia's most recognized folk singers.
