The Romani people originated in northern India, arrived in Europe through the Balkans, and began dispersing outwards from there nine hundred years ago. The artists featured on this album are dedicated to the vocal tradition as well as to instrumental virtuosity. The result is an experience full of humanity, warmth and colour.
