It is performed in its epic form (dâstân) by Rowshan Golafruz, an inspired artist who belongs to a prestigious line of bards of Khorasan. His passionate voice and virtuosic lute playing bring the characters to life and take us to the heart of a tradition that blends Persian, Turkish and Kurdish cultures.
This double album is provided with translations of the text and the songs.
