Mazel Tov!, leap from universal meaning and good wishes, is the second CD signed by LES NUAGES ENSEMBLE, new precious goal of a journey through the varied and tortuous paths of klezmer music.
Thirteen tracks that confirm the maturity of the project, in its approach to the genre made of rigor and simplicity, technical skill and courage.
Mazel Tov! includes a compendium of songs inspired by the Ashkenazi musical tradition, but also allows evasion in other territories, respecting philologically the assumption of wandering music.
The four musicians, after eight years in this genre, offer their own version of klezmer music combining female taste, passion, and research for original arrangements that now characterize their style.
