The brand new Seu Jorge album Musica para churrasco is Seu Jorge's party album and Jorge could never disappoint on that score. Translated as "Music for barbeques, from the opening bars of "A Doida" to the closing track "Quem Não Quer Sou Eu,"” the album evokes the good time spirit . The characters is Jorge’s world are generally male chauvinists with women as their main preoccupation. Amongst Jorge’s social whirl is the wife’s best friend, a Japanese beauty , an ex girlfriend and various male cohorts. Musicas Para Churrasco is a pure funk album, rooted in the 1970s and filtered through a Brazilian spectre with strong leaning to George Clinton. It is a social good time record and one of the strongest records that Jorge has produced.
